July 27-30, 2015
University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis Campus

"BestPrep’s Technology Integration Workshop positions technology as an essential part of the curriculum, providing the resources, strategies and knowledge to help educators integrate new technologies into the classroom. At this four-day professional development opportunity, educators learn how existing and emerging technologies can enhance lesson effectiveness and student engagement. Educators increase their technological literacy through first-hand and hands-on experiences including an impactful job shadow with a business professional."

Platform Agnostic Tools
Not every school can put uniform 1:1 technology into the hands of every student. But, many powerful tools can engage learners across devices and platforms. If your school is a Bring Your Own model or if you are working from a variety of devices, these tools can work for you. Perform assessments, have students create projects, collaborate and more... from any web-enabled device.

Raising Makers
In our ever changing educational environment, the role the classroom is more than just desks inside walls. Learning is not only passive listening, quiet research, or silent reading. Instead, schools are integrating more vibrant, active learning spaces. Come discover and discuss ideas of how to reimagine learning spaces of the library media center and classrooms. See how creative opportunities such as MakerSpaces can support innovation in your school. Come ready to see ways to tinker, play, explore, and create.
